The EZEtrolley story

EZEtrolley is 100% Australian owned and operated. The innovative solution to the age-old problem of moving large and often heavy sheet materials safely and efficiently was borne right here in Melbourne and all our manufacturing is completed locally.

Founder and Inventor, Jason Hartcup ran a successful business designing and building custom bookcases and shelving and like all great inventions, EZETrolley’s creation started with a problem.  He needed to manoeuvre large and heavy sheets of wood around a typical workshop, filled with obstacles and aisles.  And often while alone.

12 years ago, Jason constructed a prop out of wood and attached to wheels to carry 8’ x 4’ sheets of plywood from the delivery truck through narrow doorways of his studio and into position to create his work.  This necessary evil was cumbersome and makeshift, frustrating to use and not particularly safe.

From that early prototype, EZEtrolley emerged, with a focus on lifting heavy, awkward, sheet-materials all controlled by a highly responsive, steering mechanism.

The double-action-steering is a key innovation, enabling EZEtrolley to travel sideways, and turn 360 degrees within its own width as well as travel backwards and forwards when the wheels are positioned in the parallel setting.

EZEtrolley is a truly Australian innovation, borne from creative problem solving with a focus on utility.

Trolleys help you move.  Only EZEtrolley gives you the power to manoeuvre.
